Oliver grimaces when he sees Joe made the cover!

 We recently allowed a journalist to come to Gorilla Haven and the story was on the cover of Atlanta’s Creative Loafing magazine, their 31Oct07 issue, which you can read by clicking here.  This has generated a lot of interest and requests to come visit – even though it clearly states on our website, as well as in the article, that we’re not open to the public!  It’s a great story and Scott Freeman did a wonderful job, as did photographer, Joeff Davis. Thank you!  Don't forget to look online for the audio tour narrated by Scott, which includes more photos and details.

Even Joe and Oliver seemed to enjoy their time in the spotlight.  Oliver, however, was a bit miffed he wasn’t the cover boy, until I explained he was the centerfold, which was even more special … he finally agreed and ate the newspaper (which uses soy-based ink, so it’s safe for him to eat a page or two).

After reviewing the 31Oct07 issue of Creative Loafing, Oliver gave it his approval, by ripping it up in shreds, and eating it.
