We're trying a new format - let us know what you think! Where does the time go? Summer has come and gone, and it's all a blur. From re-thinking how we'll proceed into the future, now that our steel manufacturer died and his company will not carry on without him, to getting finances in good order to assure Gorilla Haven's continued success, we've been hit with more delays and challenges than usual. But Joe and Oliver remain healthy and we have so much to be thankful for, as we begin a new holiday season and New Year.
The summer
and fall have been nonstop, and so I've divided up the various topics into
their own sections, below. In addition to construction
and everything else, we've been busy with guests from all over.
Zoo professionals from Germany, Holland (2 sets of visitors), Toronto (2
sets of visitors), Canada, New York, Oregon (two sets of visitors) and
Chicago visited, each agreeing these updates don't begin to describe the
