GH the Limbe Connection

Although Gorilla Haven is a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation, we do not do any fund raising for our project, which is self-funded by the Dewar Wildlife Trust (DWT). Often, however, we receive unsolicited donations, which we then forward to other worthy wildlife organizations.

thpitchouarrival3.jpg (2746 bytes)It’s clear even the smallest donation can and does make a huge difference to Limbe. This photo (left) shows Pitchou when she arrived at Limbe in April, 1998 and Gorilla Haven sent money to help. I met Pitchou in May of 1999 and was thrilled to see a happy and healthy young gorilla (see below). It's for this reason we've decided to try and help Limbe raise funds so they can continue their good work. A copy of their annual report for 1998 can be made available to anyone interested, sent by snail-mail, or check out the Limbe Wildlife Centre website.

If you send $10 to most other wildlife organizations, a portion goes to administrative costs, mailings, salaries, etc. We’ll simply forward the full amount to Limbe, thereby guaranteeing your donation will have the utmost effect!

100% of all funds collected by Gorilla Haven for Limbe will go to Limbe.

Furthermore, whenever possible, the DWT will provide matching funds for donations collected !

Send your checks, payable to the Dewar Wildlife Trust (DWT) Limbe Account, to P.O. Box 210, Morganton, GA 30560, USA.

Thank you for your help.
